There were so many good things to be learned from this - from pushing through the ugly stage, to painting wet in wet stripes, using dry brush, using color theory to make the eye color pop, using a scrubber to create soft, dreamy edges, painting fur in layers, painting the bokeh effect in the background, and so much more! Oh, also, during the ugly stage, I made a stylized picture using a photoshop filter to help me see the artistic effect I wanted better.  I'll add that to the downloads.
