What I'm OBSESSING over:
Lunar Black! LOOK at this cat's tail!!! I painted it off camera but I will be doing it again.
This effect is achieved with the pigment PBk11 found in DS Lunar Black and WN Mars Black and it's SO addicting to play with. Watch this video that is making this such a popular pigment -
I made some new discoveries while I was playing with the technique in this weekend's workshop and it was SO fun to ALL get excited together! I learned as much as my students did as we played and splashed with our watercolors. Here is our amazing group:
