This painting took me on a very interesting journey. When I saw the picture of this beautiful cat - thank you so much for the muse Joyous Ruby on Facebook...I just had to have a go at him. But I lost steam towards the end, and also I was second guessing whether I should even be putting so much time into this painting when I had already done a calico cat for you all. BUT, I decided to do one more session and I added a bit of purple, and it's like the painting woke up and we both fell in love. Sooooo, I'm glad you all are as excited about this painting as I am because it certainly came full circle! I'm SO sorry Session 4 is still uploading, but it should be good to go by the end of today (Monday)
